Voice Direction

I specialize in directing voice performance, particularly in situations where actors are recorded separately. Drawing on my experience in theatre and voiceover, I focus on maintaining emotional continuity across sessions - ensuring that each performance feels connected, even when actors aren't in the room together.

Whether working remotely or in person, I help talent deliver natural, grounded reads while keeping the broader context of the project in mind.

Remote Recording Support

As a working voice actor, I've spent years refining remote recording workflows. I help talent and teams get the most out of home studios by focusing on practical improvements - mic technique, room setup, and signal quality - so recordings meet professional standards without unnecessary complexity.

When needed, I can guide talent (or their support teams) through setup and troubleshooting to ensure sessions run smoothly and efficiently.

Recording Engineering

My engineering approach is built around supporting performance. I ensure that recording setups - whether remote or in-studio - are reliable, clean, and organized, so actors can focus on their work without distraction.

I'm comfortable delivering everything from simple, ready-to-use audio files to fully organized sessions with clearly labeled takes, depending on the needs of the project.

Dialogue Editing & Cleanup

I have an ear for dialogue. Whether it's out of phase audio from a shoot, long form narration with mouth clicks and pops, or an entire radio play with actors from all over the world, I know how to clean and assemble dialogue so it feels seamless and ready for mixing, while preserving the integrity of the performance.

ADR & Voiceover Production

Years of experience as a voice artist has kept me familiar with a myriad of voiceover projects and getting the right performance for each of them. Delivering dialogue for multiple animated series and features has honed my skills at making sure that performance syncs, so the final result sounds like it was captured in a single, continuous performance.

Sound Design & Mixing

Coming from a theatrical background, I always saw sound design as a superpower for a voiceover artist - something akin to being an actor on stage who can build their own props and sets. Being a voiceover artist is a superpower in sound design: I'm wired to think of sound design like a character. Sound design as best supporting actor, elevates the world of the story by evoking emotional memories and defining action.

In the mix, I prioritize balance and clarity - ensuring that dialogue remains the focal point while the world around it feels fully realized.

Quality Control

Every stage in production requires attention to detail - each with its own specific needs. In recording, we focus on getting the performance right while limiting the work that post-production will need to take on. Often in audiobook production, this means researching pronunciations and character accents to maintain accuracy and consistency in both recording and editing phases.

My experienced ear helps catch issues early - whether technical or performance-related - so projects stay efficient and avoid unnecessary revisions later on.

Project Support & Coordination

Because I understand each stage of the voice production process, I'm able to support projects beyond performance - helping teams stay organized, communicate clearly, and keep work moving forward. My goal is to make the process as smooth and collaborative as possible for everyone involved.

In my philosophy, good support sets the table for artists to do their best, on a deadline, without getting overloaded.
